Is it just me or is this scene from Howl's moving castle falling stars demons...
...looks just like the tongues of fire of the Pentecost in this painting?
Also the tongues of fire in the original story of the descent of the holy spirit were 12 as each tongue was on the head of one of the apostles; and the falling stars in the anime were 11. Perhaps we can say the 12th is the protagonist's demon. That would be such nice touch!
Perhaps it's a coincidence, who knows!
